Why we built Abervest

Investing has been complicated for too long. Between jargon-heavy interfaces, hidden fees, and platforms that feel like they were designed for Wall Street traders, it's no wonder so many people — especially young people — feel locked out.

We looked at what was available in the UK and saw the same story everywhere: platforms that were either powerful but intimidating (like IBKR), or simple but limited (like the app-only neobrokers). There was no middle ground — no platform that combined professional-grade execution with an interface you'd actually enjoy using.

So we built one.

We built Abervest first and foremost for the generation that's been left behind by traditional investing — young people who want to start building wealth but don't know where to begin.
